Dr. Sabine Gerlach mainly advises in the areas of private construction law and the law relating to architects and engineers. She advises customers and contractors in the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts and provides the subsequent legal advice. In that area, her advice includes all legal issues including aspects under insolvency law up to the expiry of the limitation period for claims based on defects. She also advises in the area of the law relating to building developers.

In addition, Dr. Gerlach advises investors, asset managers and project developers on the realisation of energy projects. In particular, Dr. Sabine Gerlach supports her clients in drafting and negotiation of EPC contracts, project management contracts, planning contracts as well as commercial and technical management contracts. In the context of transactions, she supports companies in the above-mentioned scope of advice from legal due diligence to the conclusion of the contract.
